Celmëa was a druidic enclave that lay deep within the silver birch forest that lined the southern slopes of the Vyndingeld Pass. The druids who resided there were known to many outsiders as Silverbark Druids, after both the trees they called home and the magic-infused birch bark armour their elders are known to wear.
From the 1300s of the [Timeline#seventh-era|seventh era]], the enclave was led by the Archdruid Elëas, who was thought by most to be kind and exceedingly wise.
The enclave was known to take in refugees and abandoned children whenever possible, believing that all living beings were children of nature and were thus deserving of respect, a home and a full life. The enclave is therefore incredibly diverse - though the majority of its members were Wood Elves, there were also many Humans, Gnomes, Tieflings and others among them.
While the druids did not devote themselves to a particular deity, some among them still revered a range of nature-serving deities, such as Yomkash, The Wild Mother, and The Wise Willow.
