Lyberan was created by Mahacos as a champion of freedom. Lyberan saw Elethaor as a tyrant, whose only child, Muana, worked beneath them as a mindless servant cast out into the elemental chaos. Lyberan began to disrupt Elethaor's design, returning large swathes of the chaos to the void.

Provoked by Lyberan's rebellion, Tantus gifted Muana with sentience. Muana expressed their new-found will and emotion by crashing two great seas of weird energy together in a passionate rage, thereby creating the material planes.
