The plains of Morlan were arid and relatively featureless grasslands; not as blistering hot as the deserts of Canolze to their west, but not quite as hostile to life. They were home to a number of small human and Orrik dwarfish settlements, which typically sprung up around the rare natural springs that dotted the landscape. These springs brought water up from the depths below, which were also rich with minerals. In particular, the plains were known for their gold, sapphires, and Adamantium.
The most notable settlement on the Morlan plains was Morqhād, the largest and most populous settlement in the region.
