Xharsholm was one of the oldest cities on the mainland of Auriin. It was nestled in the foothills of the Auzgarne Mountains, and thus was host to a cultural confluence of Humans and Dwarves like no other. Both the first magic school and the first artisans guild were founded in Xharsholm, and continued to be active and world-renowned through the Seventh Era.
The city was heavily fortified - one of the best examples of the applications of dwarfish architecture above ground. At its centre were towers hundreds of metres high, which seemed to be carved out of single impossibly large monoliths.
